Institut Esthederm Eye Contour Patches

If you’re anything like me, I bet, right now, you’re squinting while you read this. No? Lies. I don’t need to wear glasses unless my eyes are really tired but I squint all the damn time. Sunlight, TV, phone, you name it, if I’m concentrating, I’m squinting. Which has given me (cough, nothing to do with age you see) extra lines around the eyes. Coupled with very pale, thin skin (don’t I sound attractive!) meaning my dark circles are almost panda like – it’s not a good look.

Which is why I am *obsessed* with eye patches. I love tissue face masks, but now I have added eye masks to the list. Or, more specifically, eye patches from Institut Esthederm.

Now, these babies are not cheap. Not if you think of them as a whole package. But, if you break them down in cost per use, they’re totally affordable.

See what I did there?

These patches say they intensely re-sculpt and instantly lift the fragile eye area. They minimise circles, puffiness, sagging and signs of fatigue. Hello all mums on summer holidays. I’d like to say that they also instantly cool, feel all lovely and make your eyes feel awake when you take them off.

The patches are really thin, they come in a little pack with both patches enclosed in a plastic wallet thing, which you pull apart to get to both, and they stick instantly to the eye, but not in a horrible, get this off me way, more in a, once they’re on, you can carry on doing whatever you like for 5 mins and they won’t fall off thank you very much, way.

Yup, 5 minutes. That’s all these need to do their magic!

I tend to whack them on when I’ve taken my make up off and I’m doing dinner or answering some emails, not really before bed, because they wake my eyes up and make me look less panda-ish and I wouldn’t want to waste that on sleep!

A box of these contains 10 pairs of patches, which works out at just under £5 per pack. I told you they weren’t cheap, but focus on the £5 part. You’d spend £5 on an eye mask wouldn’t you. Of course, because of their price, you do tend to save these for special occasions, nights out, big meetings, whatever tickles your fancy. Or, you could use them like the box tells you to, an intensive course over a short period.

I love these, and I definitely notice a difference when I take them off, both in appearance and in how my eyes feel. And anything that makes me look a little bit younger and fresher in the eye area is a winner for me!

Institut Esthederm Repair System Eye Contour Lift Patches (pack of 10 pairs) are £47.50 with free next day delivery from BeautyBay HERE.

Sound very relaxing, helpful – imagine if you start to use them as soon as you feel they are needed will help!
