On Blackheath Festival September 2017

Now we are seasoned festival goers (cough cough) you can expect a lot more festival talk on Life Daily. Well, a little bit more this year and then a whole load next year. I’m determined to get camping right one year! Third year lucky maybe?

So, come September, when everyone is back to school, and, no doubt the sun will be shining, On Blackheath Festival will be in full swing on the 9th and 10th, and, we will be there!

Featuring acts like the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Travis, Jake Bugg, KT Tunstall and The Cuban Brothers (bloody LOVED them at Camp Bestival) On Blackheath promises to be as cool as you would want a festival in London to be! We missed so much of the music acts at Camp Bestival, I am determined to see as many as possible here, in fact, I might make a flipping list so we don’t miss anyone we want to see! Including my lovely blogging mates who are all going! No doubt there will be an alcoholic beverage or two while we’re there! It wouldn’t be a festival if there wasn’t!

Kids are welcome here too, it’s definitely a festival for families! Charlie is looking forward to seeing Michael Rosen – a writer he studied at school, plus there will be the all time classic star that is Basil Brush. Oh yes! BOOM BOOM baby!!

There’s no camping involved at On Blackheath festival, although you could stay at a local hotel if you liked, but then, I guess that’s not really camping is it? (It so should be) but it’s all easy to get to on good old London Transport.

There is, of course, one of my favourite things, a whole load of festival food! There will be award-winning street food available in the Food Village, a John Lewis cookery school and a chefs demo stage – heaven! Music and food. Sorted.

A full weekend ticket costs £90, single day tickets are £49.50 and kids are from £10 (under 5’s are free) All available here
