Anxiety Monday Happy Healthy Life

It’s #anxietymonday, yes, I’m making that a thing, and today is a big old list of things to do to make everyday life a little bit happier. Simple things, I’m not talking lotto wins or holidays every month (although, universe, if you’re reading, wouldn’t say no to those) but stuff you can actually do that would make a difference to your chill levels. Yes, they’re a thing. 

  1. Drink more water. 
  2. Watch your favourite film. 
  3. Have a long, hot bath with oils.  
  4. Burn your good candles. 
  5. Turn your phone off for a few hours. 
  6. Meditate. 
  7. Use a face mask.  
  8. Put your pjs on as soon as you get home. Even better if they’re nice, matching ones. 
  9. Go for a long walk, preferably along a seafront or in a field. 
  10. Wear your favourite perfume everyday. Don’t save it for best. 
  11. Play your music loud. 
  12. Cook your favourite meal. 
  13. Lay outside, under a blanket and look at the stars. 
  14. Make a gratitude list. 
  15. Always eat the dessert. 
  16. Buy fresh flowers every week. 
  17. Do something new, even if it’s small. 
  18. Create a vision board. 
  19. Call someone you love. 
  20. Read a good book. 
  21. Take an afternoon nap. 
  22. Yoga. Or, at least stretch. 
  23. Binge watch your favourite Netflix/Now/Amazon shows. 
  24. Try a new recipe. 
  25. Buy a fancy coffee. 
  26. Paint. 
  27. Handwrite a thank you note. 
  28. Sleep in. 
  29. Feel the sun on your skin. 
  30. Have a girls night out. 
  31. Have a date night. 
  32. Make a playlist of feel good songs. 
  33. Make a list. 
  34. Watch a comedy show. 
  35. Kiss slowly.

    Oh my. Yes yes yes. This list

    I made a promise to myself for so many of these this year. I burn all my food candles(nearly all gone). I buy flowers weekly. I listen to music loud when at work.

    I really want to learn to meditate.

    Love this! I am going to try and turn my phone off for a few hours this weekend, and do some yoga. Let see if this actually happens! xxx

    This is a really brilliant list..
    I’ve been trying to do quite a few of these too this year in particular burning good candles and wearing my best perfume and changing into PJs – oh yes!!
